Normal Usage of Rubber Stamp:
From time to time, we receive back an Xstamper which has been subject to industrial usage. For the purposes of the lifetime guarantee, normal usage constitutes daily business or personal uses for which the rubber stamps were designed. This includes stamping on paper, cardboard or other like materials. Normal usage does not include commercial or industrial stamping or any use where the original hand stamp has been modified or used in conjunction with any type of stamping machine. An Xstamper can be used on a stamping machine, but it voids the guarantee.
It is important to remember that it is not necessary to strike an Xstamper hard. A light press to the stamping surface will provide the best impression, and a long, trouble free life for your rubber stamp. Allow a few seconds between stamping for maximum ink flow.
Proper Care of Rubber Stamp Products:
It is best to keep custom-made Xstamper rubber stamps in a dust free environment. Xstampers come with a dust cover to prevent buildup on the face of the rubber stamp. If buildup does occur, remove it with the sticky side of a scotch tape. This will remove the dust or fibers that can accumulate over time on the surface of the rubber stamp. Do not let the surface of the custom rubber stamp or any other rubber stamp come into contact with hard objects, or sharp object.
Re-inking of Rubber Stamp:
Re-inking is best done when the rubber stamp impression has become consistently light. Do not wait for the rubber stamp to completely dry out before re-inking. Also it is important to allow 12 hours for the ink to flow through the rubber stamp before adding more ink. For complete re-inking instructions, please click here. It is important to use only Xstamper ink, as other inks may clog the pores of the Xstamper Rubber Stamp.
Repair/ Replacement of Rubber Stamp Products:
To obtain repairs or replacements within the terms of this guarantee, please call StampXpress. at 1-800-234-0893 to obtain information on guarantee performance. StampXpress shall, within 10 days of receipt of the rubber stamp, at its discretion, repair any rubber stamp that becomes inoperable due to defect, or if the custom rubber stamp cannot be repaired, replace it with one of identical size and impression without charge. The performance of duties under this guarantee shall not be required of StampXpress; if StampXpress can show that the defect, malfunction or failure of any rubber stamp to conform with this guarantee was caused by damage not resulting from defect or malfunction while in your possession or unreasonable use including failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance. This Lifetime Guarantee applies to our custom Xstamper products, and not to stock Xstamper products.
Daters
By mechanical limitation, the dating mechanism of each Xstamper dater cannot be chronologically advanced beyond a date (the "expiration date") which is preset at the time of manufacture. The preset expiration date is ordinarily no less than 6 to 10 years and is printed on the product package. The warranty on Daters is only good for this 6 to 10 year period. We warranty our daters through the last year on the date bands that originally came with the stamp.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES, SHALL STAMPXPRESS BE LIABLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE DIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL, ARISING OUT OF THE USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE RUBBER STAMP OR CUSTOM RUBBER STAMP. STAMPXPRESS.'S TOTAL LIABILITY WILL BE FOR REPLACEMENT ONLY.
Some states do allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above or exclusion may not apply to you.
